"Unfair Burden" interactive explainer

While working as a Data Visualization Developer at the Houston Chronicle in 2021, I designed and developed an interactive "choose your own adventure"-style explainer to show readers the ins and outs of one of Texas's most generous tax breaks.

This interactive was one of the key components of a major investigative series about tax breaks and loopholes in Texas, titled "Unfair Burden", that was published in print and online by the Houston Chronicle. Development involved close consultation with reporters and editors.
